
Professional Photographers of America Certification
Certified is a designation granted through the Professional Photographers of America,
the worlds oldest and largest Association for imaging professionals,
with more then 20,000 members in 64 nations.
Only those who meet or exceed the association's strict requirements can earn certification.
Those hold the PPA Certified designation have:
1. Pass a comprehensive written exam measuring technical experience.
2. Submitted image for critical review
3. Submitted to a reference and credit check
In order to maintain their PPA Certified designation, professionals must participate in continuing education programs and periodically submit their work for critical evaluation.
This encourages those holding the designation to maintain their current
expertise and to develop new skills and techniques.
